Data Architect

Job Title:  Data Architect (Mandatory: Animal Health / Life sciences Manufacturing Data experience)
Job Location: Greenfield IN / Remote
Start Date: 9/21/2020

•    Conceptualize, roadmap, and plan data strategy for one or more enterprise data domains (Product domain is key).
•    Design the reference architecture for Data Lakes, DW and Analytic environments
•    Provide guidance to clients on a detailed design and implementation of data platform and business solutions for the identified enterprise data domain.
•    Develop, approve, and promote the creation of data standards and practices
•    Ensure that data governance standards are implemented as part of the implementation
•    Determine the need for, own and oversee the creation of enterprise schemas, taxonomies, and related master data
•    Participate in technology and data change management efforts
•    Provide data solution architecture support as needed, including analysis of needs, schema design, and ELT/ETL design Responsibilities and Technical Skills Required:
•    Experience with Microsoft Azure Ecosystem, including but not limited to Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and SQL Data Warehouse.
•    Experience with SAP S/4 HANA & Open Hub
•    Understanding of SAP core tables related to the Product domain for Lifescience process (eg: Batch, BOM, Recipe, Packaging)
•    Experience with design, development and documentation of ETL processes.
•    Proficient experience with various versions of Microsoft SQL Server including query tuning and index analysis.
•    Data warehouse modeling experience
•    Statistical data analysis experience Business Skills Required:
•    Business Knowledge: Experience of working in a similar role in an Animal Health or Lifesciences organization is mandatory.
•    A comprehensive understanding of the Data flows related to Manufacturing & R&D functions and the data domains and sub-domains 
•    Clear understanding of Hierarchies under Enterprise Product domain in the industry

•    Relevant Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience
•    Industry experience is mandatory
•    Should be able to talk to Executives and propose the solution 
•    Should be able to work independently with various stakeholders 
•    Knowledge and experience delivering results within IT operations including IT enterprise-grade applications
•    Well organized task planner with the ability to self-manage and complete work as assigned
•    Ability to interface with cross-functional teams
